Still Available: Susan

Little Susan is all grown up!

Don’t let her tiny size fool you! This little lady is big on personality, and has no problem standing up for herself among the bigger dudes around her!

Susan has also had a date with the vet and has been spayed, tattooed and has her rabies shot.

She is currently indoors, and staying there for now. The fur has not grown back on her belly, around the surgical site, so her return to the great outdoors has been delayed.

Unless, of course, a wonderful soul – like you? – is open to giving this spunky girl a forever home indoors!

All I want for Christmas…

Is an indoor forever home!

Yes, this sweet, gentle kitty who loves to cuddle, is still available!

Find out more about Keith, here.

While Keith likes to stay close to the house, the other yard cats like to follow me around.

Especially when I chop the ice out of the bird bath and add water!

For some reason, they absolutely LOVE the water in the bird bath, even after I’ve cleaned out their heated water bowl and refilled it with fresh water.

Maybe there’s a hint of bird flavour? 😀

In this video are:

Potato Beetle
Creamsicle
Two-Face
Junk Pile cat

Also in the video, popping her head up near the end, is one of the moms, Butterscotch.

Still available: Keith

Keith is definitely the smallest of the yard cats! Even the more feral Pump Shack kitten, who was born some weeks after, is bigger than he is! Even his brother, the more feral Junk Pile kitten, is much bigger than he is!

Keith is much calmer than his siblings and cousins, and loves to cuddle humans, and his older cousin (from last year’s kittens).

Still available: Creamsicle

This boy is definitely the biggest of all the kittens. A burly, beefy boy who … likes to chew on barbed wire…

He also likes to go onto the roof, then sit there, meowing at us to get down, while completely ignoring the tree he used to get up there in the first place!

What a silly kitty!

Still available – if you can catch them!

We still close up the socialized kittens in the “maternity ward” for the night, which leaves these two kittens with each other to play with.

These are Junk Pile kitten (so named because, after we caught his brothers Keith and David, so we could treat their eyes, his mom (one of the unsocialized yard cats) moved him to the junk pile, and he lives there still!) and Pump Shack kitten (whose mom is another unsocialized yard cat that found shelter with him in the old pump shack).

We continue to try and socialize them, but have not had the time required to really work on that. So far, Junk Pile kitten is at least coming within feet of us. Unlike his cousin (their moms are siblings from one of last year’s kittens), who still tends to run away long before we come close.

They are both stunningly beautiful cats!

Based on past history, the unsocialized cats tend to disappear. So if you think you have what it takes to help these kittens out, let us know. If you can catch them, they’re yours!
