In their natural habitat…

This year, we have been able to socialize 2-and-a-bit litters of kittens from 3 moms.

Here we see two of the moms, with a few of their kittens.

As the kittens got old enough to wean, they were too big to keep in the “maternity ward” we had created. They now have the run of the yard all day, but we close them up at night with at least one of the moms, so the predators won’t get them. We won’t be able to keep this up, as they get bigger.

It’s a kitten conglomerate in our yard!
